Your Weekly Tarot Reading for April 16–22, 2023: New Era Loading!
Take care of yourself this week as the intensity of fiery Aries season cools down to welcome a slower, more sensual pace as the sun moves into steadfast and indulgent Taurus. Before we can welcome the more languid vibe of the season of the Bull, we have one last spark of Aries energy with the solar eclipse on the nineteenth.
Eclipses are harbingers of change that illuminate what can no longer be ignored. Look at this moment as an opportunity not to be feared but embraced! A new path is unfolding with an abundance of new opportunities, so venture forward to see where it may lead!
This week’s intuitively pulled Tarot cards echo the sentiments of transformations with a supportive reminder to pay attention to the timing. You might suspect a transition is on the way. Even if the major shift hasn’t happened just yet, notice the signs appearing as you get your ducks in a row and prepare yourself for a spontaneous twist. Trust your intuition to know when it will be right to make your next move. Sometimes change is beyond our control, but we do have the ability to own how we respond, and that is the key that makes all of the difference.
Read on for your Tarotscopes with guidance into the week ahead.
Aries: Nine of Swords
Face your fears, Aries. Don’t let the potential of the unknown keep you from diving into a thrilling new experience. What’s the worst that could happen anyway? If you keep telling yourself all of the ways this could go wrong, you will take all of the joy out of it!

Taurus: Ace of Wands Reversed
Honor your instincts, Taurus. The rumblings of change are beckoning to you as you know the inevitable is coming. The timing might not be just yet, but spontaneity is on your side as you get your ducks in a row. Trust that you will know when to spring into action.
Gemini: Five of Wands
What are you waiting for, Gemini? If you want your situation to change, you must dive right in and create it, even if it ruffles some feathers in the process. Stop waiting for someone else to do the hard work for you and take these matters into your own hands.
Cancer: The Star
Everything is getting better, Cancer. Go with the flow this week and keep it simple. You don’t need to take on anything else right now, so just focus on riding the wave! Signs are showing that the stress you’ve been under is lessening, and your situation is working out for the better. Just give it all a little more time.

Leo: Page of Cups
Joy is the reason, Leo. Not everything has to make sense, and not every endeavor must have a monetary purpose. Sometimes it’s nice to do something just because you want to and because it’s fun! Lean into that notion this week and understand that there doesn’t need to be any further justification.
Virgo: Two of Pentacles Reversed
Don’t take it on, Virgo. Enough is enough, and you have more than your fair share to be responsible for at the moment. To maintain some sort of balance this week, stay focused on the tasks at hand and complete your current obligations before committing to anything else.
Libra: Four of Pentacles Reversed
Reassess your priorities, Libra. What once felt so important no longer seems to carry such weight, so use this week to shift your energy accordingly. Knowing when to close your laptop and put your work away is important. This may feel especially poignant when it comes to your professional life right now.
MORE TAROT: How can you best capitalize off your natural talents?
Scorpio: Queen of Swords Reversed
Mind your words, Scorpio. Be intentional with your communications this week, as your sentiments could be skewed and received in a way you never intended. Let’s not beat around the bush, ok? Keep it short and simple because everyone benefits when you’re direct.
Sagittarius: Knight of Swords
Think fast, Sagittarius! Opportunities are coming your way this week, and you must be quick and confident with your moves to take full advantage of what’s being presented. This is not the time to second guess yourself. The first answer that comes to you is the right one!
Capricorn: Seven of Pentacles
Keep doing what you’re doing, Capricorn. You might not see the results of your diligent efforts yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to give up! The turning point is imminent, but in the meantime, stay focused on how to work smarter, not harder, so your plans can continue to unfurl at a steady pace.

Aquarius: Three of Pentacles

Pisces: Eight of Swords Reversed
Don’t be so hard on yourself, Pisces. How will you ever start something new if you continue to act like it’s a complete failure before you even begin? Silence your inner critic with the reminder that all you can do is your best, which is good enough.
