Here’s Everything You Need to Know About October’s Aries Full Moon

Marking a significant midway point within the astrological year, the Aries full moon on October 6 asks us to review the past six months. Think back to any intentions or goals you set during the Spring Equinox on March 20. Celebrate wins that have brought you closer to these desires, but reflect on where further initiative is needed. Focus on hyping yourself up where boredom or stagnancy has set in. If you feel less driven by aspirations you no longer feel passionate about, give yourself permission to start anew. Aries energy is all about fresh starts and fueling the fire within, and this lunation adds an extra layer of urgency when it comes to prioritizing personal goals.

The sun and moon stand alone during this astrological event, making it easier to avoid distraction. Allow yourself to move with a singular minded approach, honing in on one or two agendas. You’ll need to find balance to ensure your efforts lead to success, and nurturing too many visions at once could be the very reason they fall apart. Knowing when you require support will also be important while navigating the path ahead. Confide in loved ones you can trust and rely on, and be open to the feedback others provide.

Though you’ll need to get serious about the process of self-actualization, it’ll be important to encourage loved ones as well. The Libra sun highlights the complexities that form our most valued relationships, asking us all to step up as family, friends, and significant others. Romantic connections will be particularly important to keep tabs on. Ensure that you and your sweetheart are carving out enough time for one another, especially when external demands pick up. If increased work or responsibilities brew agitation or difficulty finding time to connect, address the issue before it has a chance to spiral out of control. Even small moments of sweetness can make all the difference to loved ones, so be mindful to offer compliments, affection, and loving gestures during this time.

Adding layers to the overall ambiance of this full moon, Uranus and Neptune form a trine overhead. Meanwhile, Mercury and Pluto generate tension as a difficult square builds. Instant connections will be made as the universe brings a charge to social interactions. Though you should lower guards slowly and protect your most vulnerable secrets until you’ve had the chance to really get to know someone. Difficulties within intimate dynamics also become inflamed, which could lead to destructive breaking points. Watch out for jealousy, political rifts, or power struggles, taking time to reflect before responding instead of hastily reacting if issues arise.

While Luna may bring a few challenges to the table, the universe ultimately seeks to rekindle fires that have grown dim. Find the leader within, and be more proactive about guiding yourself. There may be moments when you’re forced to act on instinct, but try not to question decisions that cannot be undone. Rather than fixating on the past, regroup in the present while looking toward the future.
