Everything You Need to Know About March’s Full Moon in Virgo

Eclipse season is in full swing, bringing forth all the emotional upheaval, chaos, and life altering changes that come with it! This full moon marks the first eclipse in health conscientious Virgo, intensifying the fine line that connects our bodies and minds. Holding a mirror to the Pisces sun, Lady Luna emphasizes how certain people or situations impact the body. Bring extra awareness to your physical responses, and notice what or who gives you butterflies and causes the heart to soar, versus that which makes your shoulders, jaws, or neck tense up. The more you acknowledge stressful triggers and their impact, the easier it will be to safeguard against them moving forward.

While outside influences will have their role in contributing to or taking away from your sense of ease, personal accountability for feeling good will also be a major theme. Making healthy choices for yourself will be huge, and you’ll be reminded that living one’s best life doesn’t simply involve luxurious weekends and moments of extravagance. The energy at play is more practical and routine-based, asking you to examine how you’re sleeping, eating, and movement habits are impacting your overall sense of clarity and endurance. If you haven’t been supporting your body to the fullest extent that you can, now is the time to outline new wellness goals, while taking them seriously. In time, you will find that when you’re in a good place physically, difficult emotions are easier to navigate.

While the energy of this astrological event could feel like a lot, try to pace yourself. The universe will be direct about the changes you must implement to live well, but the stars don’t expect instant turnarounds. In fact, this lunation simply marks the start of a journey that will play out until February 20, 2027. Think of this full moon as an opportunity to begin strategizing and making small changes, so that two years from now you can look back and celebrate the major milestones you’ve managed to hit. It’ll also be important that the aspirations you set are realistic and truly rooted in the idea of cultivating a sustainable and holistic approach to living healthily, rather than setting unattainable expectations that will be difficult to achieve or stay true to.

Stress will have a way of winding you up, as Virgo energy can trigger the perfectionist within us all. An influx of new tasks, responsibilities, or goals could have you feeling overwhelmed, and it’ll be important that you step back to examine the best path forward. Avoid getting caught up in minutia by doing your best without demanding too much. To-do lists, organization, and asking for help will be huge in cultivating a system that is supportive and productive. You’ll have a chance to cultivate a healthy work/life balance when you reach for a flow that allows you to stay active without succumbing to pressure. Figure out what you need to thrive, whether it’s more sleep, teamwork, or additional time, then pursue these supports without apology.
