Your Weekly Tarot Reading: September 21-27, 2020

This week brings the Autumn Equinox, a time of balance and reflection. Because of this energy, being at play, it is not much of a surprise that the cards pulled are universally asking us to slow down and prioritize our own self-care right now.

Aries: Justice Reversed

Try to be more flexible, Aries! The energy of this week is asking you to be less judgmental towards yourself as well as others. This is your reminder that you simply cannot control every outcome. Most situations do not have a clear-cut answer right now, so go with the flow more and accept what is rather than trying to force something that it’s not.

Taurus: Five of Pentacles

Prioritize your health and well-being, Taurus! Have you been feeling run down and exhausted lately? Stop neglecting your body and your own needs. It’s time to focus on taking care of yourself as you luxuriate in your own wellness practices! Try out some new recipes and get psyched for an unconventional fitness routine. Making this a priority now will avoid mental burnout later.

Gemini: The Devil

Give in to the temptation of indulgent self-care, Gemini! You have been working so hard, but when was the last time you prioritized pleasure? Make time and space for pampering and relaxation this week. Shut your phone off for an hour and take a bubble bath or do a face mask. Doesn’t that sound lovely? You deserve it.

Cancer: Queen of Pentacles

Don’t be so hard on yourself, Cancer. People love being around you because of your natural ability to nurture. You accept others for who they are and always offer an abundance of love and support to those who are feeling down. This card is asking you to show yourself the same kindness this week.

Leo: Ace of Pentacles Reversed

Stop procrastinating, Leo! What are you waiting for? It’s time to focus and get to work! It can be hard to know where to begin when everything feels so overwhelming. Take a step back, get your priorities in order, and create a to-do list of accomplishable goals. You will feel so much better once you just get going and start somewhere.

Virgo: Page of Wands

Be courageous, Virgo! An exciting adventure awaits you… you just need to say yes to this new opportunity. This is your moment to be creative, bold, and totally original! Don’t be afraid to get excited about this new endeavor, because the only obstacle in your way is your own harsh inner critic.

Libra: Six of Pentacles

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, Libra. Have you been feeling overwhelmed lately? This is your reminder that it is okay to ask for help when you need it. Do not hesitate to reach out to your inner circle in order to receive support. You have been there for everyone else, and now they want to return the favor.

Scorpio: Four of Pentacles

Release control, Scorpio! Not everything will go as you had hoped for all the time, and this week is clearly evident of this notion. It will be challenging for you, but try to go with the flow and roll with the punches. Your ability to problem-solve on your feet will serve you well right now.

Sagittarius: The Empress

Connect with nature, Sagittarius. Are you in need of feeling more grounded? It’s time to get outdoors. Go for a hike and enjoy the scenery and pretty flowers. Do you live in a city? Make time to go to the closest park and connect with the beauty of your surroundings. This is also a good week to buy yourself a new houseplant.

Capricorn: Knight of Wands

Leaning into your passions will serve you well this week, Capricorn, but be sure to not react too quickly or be too impulsive. Before you make any major moves, take a moment to ask yourself if you are being confident or cocky? If you make a silly mistake now, it could have long-lasting consequences.

Aquarius: Ten of Cups Reversed

It is okay to disconnect, Aquarius. If you need more time for yourself right now, feel free to take it without guilt. Everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes, and it’s better to take a break now rather than to get caught up in an endless cycle of miscommunications due to emotional exhaustion.

Pisces: The Hanged Man

It’s time to surrender, Pisces. Not everything is going the way you had hoped for and now you have reached a stalemate as you wait for action. Unfortunately, you cannot control the outcome or the timeline right now. Instead, focus on what you can do to be more comfortable as you wait for more information.
