New Moon in Taurus Ritual

My favorite new moon ritual for this lunation is to indulge in a tea of herbs imbued with the Taurean intention of grounded self-care in order to open our hearts to a new beginning.

For this tea you will need:

• 1 Part Roses (to invoke love in all of its forms and open our hearts)

• 1 Part Chamomile (grounding and relaxing)
• ½ Part Hibiscus (to attract more of that self-love and self-care, plus a dose of vitality and rooting!)
• Several slices of fresh Ginger root (grounding and healing)
• Add two tablespoons of the mixture of herbs as well as the sliced ginger to your tea strainer and pour in a cup of hot water.

Add two tablespoons of the mixture of herbs as well as the sliced ginger to your tea strainer and pour in a cup of hot water. As you make this tea, think about the intention you are currently invoking and infuse it into your tea. Let Venusian-ruled Taurus inspire you by invoking feelings of luxury, indulgence, and love.

Next, allow the tea to steep for fifteen minutes. As the last step, finish with a squeeze of lemon to add a boost of clarity and honey to taste if you desire sweetness. The result color of the tea should be a gorgeous pink (due to the hibiscus!). Sip slowly and pleasurably as you feel filled with self-love and the energy of your new moon intentions. (Make it extra magical by enjoying a cup of this tea in the bath with pink rose petals!)

This tea can also be savored while leisurely reading your weekly Tarot reading.
