Your Weekly Tarot Reading: January 18-January 24, 2021

This week, the Tarot cards encourage us to get out of our comfort zones and expand upon our points of view. When we seek a new perspective, we are able to find new solutions to our current problems, work around our obstacles in innovative ways, and reach a greater level of understanding and empathy for others in different situations from ourselves.

Use this week to broaden your horizons and break free from any two-dimensional views. If it feels a little uncomfortable at first, then that means it is working and you are growing!

Aries: Queen of Wands

Be bold, Aries. This is your reminder that you have so much to offer the world through your unique perspective! People are noticing you and acknowledging the merits of your creative vision. Be confident in your abilities and keep creating! The world cannot wait to see what you do next with that beautiful brain of yours.

Taurus: Eight of Pentacles

Invest in your skills, Taurus. Now is an aligned time to focus on your personal development. What can take you to the next level? How about a class or workshop series that can help you refine your talents? Look into options that aid your focus and dedication to your biggest goals and dreams.

Gemini: The Star

Welcome a fresh perspective, Gemini. Try seeing your current situation from a different angle this week as a way of finally reaching a peaceful resolution. In order to clear your mind and change up your routine, try taking a different route home every day. A little change in scenery will offer that much needed creative inspiration and refreshed mindset.

Cancer: The Hermit Reversed

Get out of your own head, Cancer. You have been spending a lot of time reflecting on your personal transformation and predicaments while trying to find solutions, but sometimes it just gets to be too much. You are overthinking everything and your inner landscape has become a little too isolating! Spend more time this week connecting with your friends.

Leo: Justice Reversed

Take accountability for your actions, Leo. Everyone makes mistakes, but what matters most is how we handle the aftermath. Own up to your recent blunders and current misunderstandings, and do whatever you can to make it right. Bonus points if you do this before others even notice that anything has gone awry.

Virgo: Three of Swords Reversed

Feel it to move through it, Virgo. Have you been avoiding some past pain or uncomfortable emotions? Something from your past is bubbling to the surface, and now is the time to deal with it. Stop pushing it down in hopes it will go away (spoiler alert: it won’t!) Give yourself space to feel, grieve, and heal because once you do, you can truly begin to move forward.

Libra: Five of Swords Reversed

It’s time to compromise, Libra. In order to move past your current conflict and stop giving life to the stalemate, you are going to need to give in a little. Accept the fact that your opponent is not going to completely agree with you on this one and a middle ground must be sought. Examine where you can budge in order to be more flexible. Scorpio: Knight of Swords Reversed

What’s the rush, Scorpio? This week presents difficulties with focus so instead of pushing against the energy, why don’t you just lean into it? Slow down with the finality to give yourself more space to collect your thoughts and concentrate on your priorities. This mental break will help prevent the metal burnout you have been heading towards.

Sagittarius: Ten of Cups Reversed

Seek common ground in your relationships, Sagittarius. Have you been butting heads with your family lately? Some issues may never be resolved, but now is an aligned time to attempt to mend broken fences. Is there a way for you both to meet in the middle? Explore those options as you weigh what you can and cannot accommodate at this time. You might actually be able to reach a peaceful compromise!

Capricorn: The Sun

What brings you joy, Capricorn? Take notice of everything that keeps you feeling content, from the simple pleasures to the major moments. Despite the current state of the world, this is your reminder to find the win each day as you look on the bright side. Practicing more gratitude will make each day more pleasurable.

Aquarius: Four of Swords Reversed

Take time for yourself, Aquarius. If you are feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, and exhausted then it is time to prioritize rest! Stop the endless doom scrolling and information overload by taking a little digital detox. This mental break will do wonders for you as it creates space for that creative inspiration you have been seeking.

Pisces: Six of Swords Reversed

Push through the discomfort, Pisces. Rather than resisting change, now is the time to accept your need to evolve and lean into it completely. Growth is uncomfortable but that does not mean you cannot handle it. This is your encouragement to move forward beyond your comfort zone in order to gain a new perspective.
