Your Weekly Tarot Reading for October 20–October 26, 2024: Trust the Process and Shed the Past

This week marks the end of Libra season as we welcome the start of Scorpio’s reign through the stars. While Libra’s intention is to create balance in our relationships through harmony, Scorpio is more about the self with an invitation to explore the depths of our inner shadows in order to penetrate what’s locked within, release old patterns, and shine a light on what needs to be seen so we can transform into new versions of ourselves. Let’s learn from our memories but not live inside of them. Trust your emotions, listen to your intuition, and surrender to the process. When we face our fears, they no longer have any power over us. This is a moment to let go of the past, shed old stories and mindsets, and be reborn!

Our intuitively pulled cards want us to slow down, be patient, and adjust our expectations. There’s no need to push ourselves so harshly, to expect radical change overnight, or speed up our timelines. It’s ok to step away from anything that feels all consuming or too intense because you can always return to it after some rest and reflection. A refreshed perspective will be found when you honor your progress so far, and know that everything is unfolding just as it should in divine timing.

Read on for your Tarotscopes for cosmic guidance and advice into your week ahead. Wishing you full moon blessings!

Aries: Ace of Pentacles Reversed

Be patient, Aries. It’s understandable to have a desire for instant gratification, but a lack of overnight success is not the same as a failure! Good things take time. Adjust your expectations and your timelines to reflect something a little more reasonable to stay inspired on your road to success.

MO RE TAROT: How to read and use Tarot.

Taurus: Six of Wands

Recognize your progress, Taurus. Before you lose your motivation, it’s important to notice how far you’ve come. You might not be exactly where you wish to be just yet, but at one point you did dream of being here. Isn’t that incredible? Celebrate your journey so far and keep going.

Gemini: Eight of Wands

Pace yourself, Gemini. It’s so challenging to remain patient when you really want something, but your steadfast determination will show signs of paying off this week as everything begins to click into place and truly take off! Don’t get overwhelmed by the momentum. Create a plan and stick to it so you can ride the wave!

Cancer: Six of Cups Reversed

Adjust your expectations, Cancer. In order to find inner peace this week, you are going to need to shift your mindset. Instead of getting caught up in how you feel everything “should” be based on your past experiences, focus more on what you need in this present moment and how you can create that internally rather than through others.

Leo: Two of Pentacles Reversed

Less is more, Leo. You simply cannot be everywhere all at once, and this week’s circumstances remind you that you must pick and choose what to do and where to focus wisely. Time management is crucial: don’t create more stress for yourself by over-committing, and give yourself the proper time to accomplish your tasks so there’s no need to rush.

Virgo: The Hermit

Indulge in solitude, Virgo. When life is moving at a pace of a million miles a minute, sometimes the best move to make for your own well being is to just slow down and create more space for YOU. Cancel your plans and just chill because you need to rest!

Libra: Strength Reversed

Resist your impulses, Libra. Distractions are plentiful this week, but it would be in your best interest to utilize some much needed self control rather than getting caught up in every whim or desire. If you want to get to where you wish to go, it’s going to require some major discipline.

MORE TAROT: Need an answer about something in your career path?

Scorpio: Ten of Wands

Seek out support, Scorpio. Try not to get trapped in the mindset that you must shoulder the burden of all of your responsibilities on your own! This way if thinking is only going to exhaust you so if you need additional help, just ask. Your loved ones will come through for you.

Sagittarius: Four of Wands

Enjoy the moment, Sagittarius. This week provides a wonderful opportunity to rest on your laurels and be present to celebrate the success you have achieved so far on your journey. This practice is especially important to fuel your motivation forward and to create or adjust any necessary boundaries to preserve your energy for the goals you have in mind.

Capricorn: Eight of Pentacles

Stick with it, Capricorn. Slow and steady wins the race is your mantra at the moment so continue to invest your energy into the endeavors that matter the most to you now. Keeping your long term vision in mind will provide excellent motivation to continue striving forward, and to trust that your hard work will pay off.

Aquarius: Six of Swords

Take a break, Aquarius. If something is giving you an immense amount of stress, then this week signals a moment to put it down and walk away for a bit. Focus on something else in order to put your mind at ease and come back to it later with a refreshed perspective.

Pisces: Ace of Swords

Speak your mind, Pisces. If you don’t tell someone how you feel, then how can anyone know what’s really going on? Stop playing silly games and save yourself the frustration by being upfront and honest rather than expecting everyone to read your mind. It’s far better to just be direct.
