Your Weekly Tarot Reading for December 29–January 4, 2025: Release, Recharge, and Redirect
As we wrap up the past year and get ready for the new, Capricorn season’s energy inspires us to be meticulous and practical as we set our goals for the year ahead. This week provides a wonderful time to create space for reflection to consider the year’s highlights, and to acknowledge your accomplishments. Maybe some goals didn’t come to fruition or perhaps the passing of time shifted them into something else entirely. Allow their new forms to come through in your intentions for what’s next! It’s also a lovely time to rest and refresh while enjoying the quiet and comfort of home. Get rid of anything you no longer need and declutter to move forward into the new year unencumbered by excess baggage; this applies to your habits, patterns, and mindset as well!
This week’s intuitively pulled cards align with the year’s end with encouraging reminders for us to embrace the lessons we have learned, while remaining open to an abundance of new experiences that have yet to unfold. As we plan for the year ahead, it’s so important to trust in our abilities to steer life in whatever direction we wish to go. We can make anything happen in this new year!

Taurus: Five of Pentacles Reversed
Shift your perspective, Taurus. This week calls for a reframe of your current situation in order to boost your mood. Gemini: Knight of Cups
Follow your heart, Gemini. If something sparks your interest, follow it without hesitation because this is a wonderful moment to pursue your passions and listen to your emotions. If it feels right, explore it; that sentiment tells you everything you need to know right now.
Cancer: King of Wands Reversed
Resist your impulses, Cancer. You may be feeling rather impatient this week, but there’s no need to rush into anything or to make any hasty decisions. You have more time than you think you do, so take a moment to press pause, and think carefully before you act.

Libra: The Emperor
Take charge, Libra. Enough is enough, and it’s time to stop letting everything meander in a grey zone. You have the power to create some necessary changes and your current situation calls for clarity. Step up and be the leader by creating crucial structure and boundaries that you can stick to moving forward.
MORE TAROT: Need an answer about something in your career path?
Scorpio: Ten of Swords
Prioritize your own well being, Scorpio. This year has shown you what (and who!) is truly important in your life through some challenging lessons. It’s time to take this wisdom and put it to good use by letting go of anything toxic or negative so you can focus on your own care and healing.
Sagittarius: Six of Wands Reversed
Prepare for delays, Sagittarius. When faced with setbacks this week, try not to get too discouraged on your path to success. This minor obstacle just means that it may take a little longer to get where you wish than you initially anticipated. Be patient and remain focused on your journey.
Capricorn: Five of Swords Reversed
Create compromises, Capricorn. Do you really want to spend this week engaged in every little squabble that comes your way? Rather than turning everything into a bigger conflict than necessary, be the one who seeks a common ground so all involved can feel satisfied and understood.
