Your Weekly Tarot Reading for December 10–16, 2023: Year-End Reflections.
The year continues to wind down as this week’s energy provides an optimal time to reflect on how far we have come. At the same time, we’re setting our sights on all of our developing plans for 2024. On December 12, we have a new moon in Sagittarius, coupled with the beginning of Mercury’s next retrograde, providing a lovely opportunity to pause, slow down, and consider our next steps before setting our intentions. Take some time this week to acknowledge all of your progress this past year and allow this to motivate you to dream even bigger than you previously thought possible!
This week’s intuitively pulled Tarot cards inspire a gentle energy of self-compassion and mental relief. There’s no need to rush or force something to happen, especially if you feel exhausted or burnt out by an endless to-do list of responsibilities that border on burdensome. Make more time for yourself to relax and destress rather than take on more. Honor your limitations because it’s completely unnecessary to push past them.
Read on for your Tarotscopes with cosmic guidance on finishing the year strong.
Aries: Three of Swords Reversed
Show yourself compassion, Aries. Something laid to rest long ago feels like it is coming back to haunt you through the reminders of unexpected, potentially painful memories. Taurus: The Wheel of Fortune
Take the initiative, Taurus. If you want to take your work to the next level, you must be bold this week and seize the major opportunities presenting themselves to you now. Growth and expansion can be challenging at first, even for a good time of change.
Gemini: The Hermit Reversed
Gain an outside perspective, Gemini. It’s very easy for you to get stuck in your head, ruminating about your troubles or going over how scenarios could potentially play out. Resist the temptation to do that too much this week by asking a trusted friend for their point of view instead. A different vantage point will bring the peace and clarity you need.
Cancer: The Star
Relief is on the way, Cancer. Your schedule is opening up, and the restorative break you have so desperately needed is here! Embrace this moment fully by taking every opportunity to rest and relax your mind while indulging in peace and quiet. While you’re at it, stop obsessively checking your email inbox.
