Your Weekly Tarot Reading: December 7-13, 2020
We are now moving through December, the final month of a tumultuous year, and the message from the Tarot cards this week is quite clear: Everyone needs to slow down and take a much-needed break!
If you are feeling burnt out and exhausted, be sure to prioritize your own well-being with rest and relaxation by consulting our Yin Yang Tarot Reading. Take a day off if you need it, and do not be afraid to say no to the tasks you cannot fully commit to right now. The moves you make now to take care of yourself will have long-lasting effects on your health and happiness.
Aries: Ten of Wands Reversed
It’s time to say no, Aries! You have been taking on too much lately, and this week, it’s finally catching up with you! In order to protect your well-being, you must be more discerning with your commitments. Be more realistic with what you can actually accomplish with your current energy level.
Taurus: The Hierophant Reversed
Stop being so rigid, Taurus. The frustration you have been currently feeling stems from your inability to be more flexible. This is your reminder that you cannot control everything, so try to let go of your preconceived notions of how it “should” be and go with the flow.
Gemini: Judgement
Renew and refresh, Gemini! You have been working so hard and now it’s time to take a chill pill and relax. Create your own at-home spa haven! Do a face mask, light a fancy candle, and Zen out. Put aside the big decisions, and get back to work next week.
Cancer: Wheel of Fortune Reversed
Break the cycle, Cancer! You have been falling back into your old habits, and they are NOT serving you well. Even though it might feel comfortable, it’s time for you to recognize that this is not healthy or helpful. Once and for all, break this negative cycle and move forward.
Leo: Strength Reversed
It’s time for rest, Leo! Have you been feeling low energy lately? Listen to your body and slow down! Prioritize your own self-care this week, and indulge in your need for relaxation. I guarantee your loved ones will understand your desire for more “me time” right now.
Virgo: Knight of Swords Reversed
Slow down, Virgo! You have been moving a million miles a minute, and now you are verging on exhaustion! It’s wonderful to be so excited and motivated to do so much at once, but this is your reminder that you are in fact only human! Take a rest and reconfigure your priorities so you can work smarter not harder.
Libra: Six of Wands Reversed
Not everything goes as we would like, Libra, and your plans have been thrown off track with unexpected setbacks. This is so disappointing, but do not throw out all of your hard work and classify this as a failure just yet. Take a step back and learn from your mistakes in order to course-correct and get back on track. Do you want to find out more? Scorpio: Queen of Swords Reversed
Be confident in your decisions, Scorpio. Others are making a point to weigh in with their opinions and trying to “helpfully” offer their advice on how you should handle your current situation. As challenging as it may be, you need to tune all of them out (especially the pushy ones!) and be assertive with your decision making. You (and you alone!) know exactly what to do next.
Sagittarius: Knight of Swords
Seize your moment, Sagittarius! Big changes are coming your way, whether in a new job, a relationship, or something else you have desired for a long time. This major shift might be rustling up old fears within you, but do not let that hold you down! Now is the time to be confident, and face these new opportunities with optimism.
Capricorn: Four of Pentacles
Save your money, Capricorn. This is not a week to spend wildly or live lavishly, but instead, a time to focus on saving. Have you thought about your retirement plan yet? It is not too soon, especially considering how hard you’ve been working! Put your restless energy into researching safe investment plans to continue to build on the abundance you have accumulated.
Aquarius: Four of Swords
Prioritize rest, Aquarius. You have been going going, going, and now you would greatly benefit from a day of relaxation. Step back from your commitments and take a day off! Spend some quality alone time and recharge. If you do not have a regular meditation practice in place, this is a great week to start that up!
Pisces: Nine of Cups Reversed
Everything in moderation, Pisces. Resist the temptation to overindulge this week because you are feeling bored and impulsive. Instead, focus on kinder, more productive activities you can engage in to make the time pass more quickly. Remember that short-term pleasure can have long-term effects on your well-being.
