Your Weekly Horoscope for July 4–July 10, 2021: A Focus on Relationships
We are heading into an intense week when it comes to relationships—but don’t fret! Your weekly horoscope for the week starting on July 4 has all the scoop on how to channel this energy!
The pace of life will truly quicken this week with Mercury, our planet of communication, finally leaving its post-shadow phase on July 6. Truth be told, though, we’ve already been clicking along quite effectively since the beginning of the month. The week ahead does harbor some hiccups, though, as the planets continue their conflict, throwing punches in the ring.
The energizing sun sextiles Uranus in Taurus on July 5, but this energy will even be felt the weekend prior to it. This bodes well for those planning summer celebrations or those in the United States ringing in Independence Day. Exhilarating surprises could be around every corner, as we will feel an urge for freedom and spontaneity. Socializing amongst friends or with people who are different from us may bring some rewarding and memorable encounters. Invitations could lead us to new discoveries about other people, the world, and ourselves. Now is not a time to focus on our routine and instead it is better to go with the flow and see where adventures take us.
Confusion Within Relationships
July 6 will be a more troublesome day with two sharp aspects coming into play. Mercury in airy Gemini will square delusional Neptune in Pisces. This will distort our thinking and bring complications to our daily affairs and business dealings. With confusion and insecurity guaranteed, it’s best not to rush anything and to avoid agreements, conflicts, or conspiracies. Instead, focus on allowing your creative energies to flow or enjoy watching an inspiring series or film.

On the same day, Venus in Leo will oppose Saturn in Aquarius, too, bringing sadness and distance to our relationships. Loneliness could rise up and we may feel the need for introspection. Past problems in our love lives could consume us, so it’s better to wait for this energy to pass before we make any hasty decisions. Instead, be practical and grounded when it comes to your friendships, love life, and connections.
Venus in Leo gets attacked by a thunderbolt from Uranus in Taurus on July 8. The square between these two planets may bring yet another challenge to our relationships. Healthy unions can enjoy more passion, experimentation, and excitement, whereas those feeling trapped in an unhealthy connection could hunger for freedom and end up lashing out in anger or through destructive behavior. If single, the best way to harness this energy is to not be too impulsive in dating, but to open up your mind to meeting people who are unique or different from you.
A New Beginning
The end of the week, however, is actually a new beginning. With a new moon in Cancer arriving on July 9, our sensitive natures will be activated and our hearts will swell. During this period of the year, we turn our attention to the stability within our lives and how we connect to our roots. Our family, lineage, and past will be present for us to face. Use this lunation to cozy up at home, reach out to your kindred, and transform your living space into the perfect nest for you.
