Weekly Horoscope for August 1–7, 2021: The Astrology of 2021 Reaches Climax
The planets are stepping into a bullfight this week, and your weekly horoscope for August 1 is here to guide you during this intense week. As the planets trade taunts and stampede at one another, our lives will be riddled with challenges, confusion, and conflict. This week will be one of the most difficult in 2021, as no one will be unscathed from a stormy universe. Remember: Challenges in life are here to help us to evolve and to release toxic or outdated patterns, projects, and relationships.
At the onset of the week, the sun and Mercury unite in a conjunction in Leo on August 1. While this usually brings a burst of activity, high spirits, and plenty of communication, icy Saturn will glare across the sky in an opposition to our cosmic messenger. This will deflate our sense of excitement as dark clouds obscure our minds. Disappointment and melancholy are sure to set in, so it would be advised to avoid making business agreements now.
Get Ready for Change and Surprises
August 2 may very well be the worst day in 2021, as the sun in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius, activating the Saturn-Uranus square. Obstacles and roadblocks will appear upon our paths. Our energy levels will be extremely drained. Our depressed moods from the day prior will further wrap us in shrouds. Conflicts and delays will manifest as the war between fire and ice clashes in the heavens above.
The only sweet planetary aspect of the week will be on August 3, as Venus in Virgo will trine Uranus in Taurus. Exciting surprises could pop up, as we will crave fun and adventure. This is an auspicious time to shake up your routine if possible. Relationships could see positive changes, while singles could connect with unique individuals who blow their minds. However, on this same day, Mercury in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, as well. On one hand, this could bring more spontaneity to the day, but it may also bring upsetting news and experiences. Temper your enthusiasm by playing it safe and not jumping too far off the dock.
August 6 brings the sun in Leo into a square with Uranus in Taurus, too. This continues the persistent theme of the year—our collective need for freedom, no matter what. Rapid changes will be thrust upon us at this time—but considering that it is a square, they could be ultimately damaging. Beware of accidents and shocking behavior from other people.
