Venus in Scorpio Wants All or Nothing From You
As we watch the heavens turn, our planets and luminaries dance like fairies in the skies. Their beauty always shines down on us—and depending on where they are in the solar system—we feel their energies in the human collective very specifically!
Venus in Scorpio Transit Effects
Venus, the planet of love, pleasure, and beauty, is ready to dance into newfound waters! Our goddess planet dances within each zodiac sign for just under a month each year. As she becomes submerged within Scorpio, we will crave intimacy with another on the greatest of levels. Who we trust, are connected to, and value will be on the top of our minds. Assessing what we give and receive in relationships will also be of interest—in business, romance, or collaboration.
How Long Will Venus Be in Scorpio in Upcoming Months?
Venus ventures through Scorpio in 2026 from September 10, 2026 until October 25, 2026. It will surely be a memorable period! However, be aware that Venus will retrograde in Scorpio and then Libra beginning on October 3, 2026. Later this year, Venus returns to Scorpio in direct motion—but we’ll discuss that transit later on after the retrograde when it happens!
Collective Overview: Venus in Scorpio
When Venus transits Scorpio, we hunger for union with another in body and soul. However, it’s important to note that Venus is known to be in her “detriment” when she is in Scorpio. This means that she takes on a much different energy than she is normally used to.
Venus is an archetype that loves intimacy and closeness, yet she tends to be soft and sweet rather than fiery and intense. This all changes when she roars into the seas of Scorpio. Superficial relations will not interest us, and casual flirtations or dalliances will be incredibly unsatisfying.
We can expect that our libidos and sexual desires will skyrocket, and we may feel the surge of lust. However, hook-ups or whirlwind romances will end up triggering frustration, anger, resentment, or revenge rather than fulfillment.
What Should We Know About Scorpio?
Scorpio is symbolized by the Scorpion, which means that we may have a sharper edge in regards to getting what we want at this time. But a lesser-known fact is that Scorpio is also connected to two other symbols, with the scorpion being its “lowest vibration.” Scorpio is also symbolized by the phoenix, giving us a chance for rebirth in our relationships and allowing us to release traumas or heartbreaks from the past. The highest evolution of the Scorpio spirit is the eagle, when we take everything we’ve learned and soar once again toward enlightenment about what we—and our partners—need. Relationships and romance can be very rocky when Venus transits Scorpio, especially if we are feeling unfulfilled or not having our primal and personal needs met. Keep all of this in mind!
Scorpio is a fixed water sign. This can mean that our emotions may become intense and rigid, set in our feelings at the expense of others. We will find our emotions become “all-or-nothing” in all ways.
A shadow side to this period may be taking an extreme approach to sex, love, or dating at all costs. We may look at all matters—especially romance—as black or white. We will feel love—or we will feel hate. There is no middle ground. We may also become hot or cold depending on if we feel open to trust and vulnerability. Games, drama, spying, and secrecy are also quite possible now. Be cautious and don’t sink into your lower vibrations!
