This Tarot Pull Holds the Key to Your Leo Season Learning

Taurus As the sun shifts into Leo, spirit offers an encompassing message for all signs to ponder: “We are all teachers, we are all students.”

One of our main reasons for reincarnating into this physical plane is to learn. We’ve been guided by teachers all our lives, and not just the ones that helped us to read and write. Everyone we have had relationships and experiences with have knowingly or unknowingly taught us valuable life lessons. And we, knowingly and unknowingly, have acted as teachers, in return.

Everyone who has expressed love, kindness, and generosity have been our teachers. Everyone who has broken our hearts, betrayed us, or caused us pain have also been our teachers. We would not be the same without them, and we would not have the wisdom, the compassion, and the strength without them. And others will say the same about you: How your love, your anger, your light, your darkness have shaped them.

Your Tarotscopes below will help you tune into what your soul needs to focus on or address during this Leo season. Read with your sun, moon, and rising signs in mind.

ARIES

8 of Pentacles and The High Priestess

Dear Aries, this Leo season the 8 of Pentacles and The High Priestess invite you to put careful effort into the development of your intuition and spiritual practice.

The 8 of Pentacles is about study, practice, and steady progress. This card asks us to be present, to be diligent, and to immerse ourselves in the process. The High Priestess is the gatekeeper to the world of the unseen. She connects us to inner wisdom and empowers us to seek the answers within—to find the truths gained only from knowing ourselves and connecting to spirit.

In the field of spiritual development, those seeking instant gratification will not find it. There is no end goal, no certification, no graduation. There is no curriculum that outlines where you will be in year one versus year ten. The journey is lifelong, and the moment you feel you’ve learned everything is the moment you block yourself from infinite knowledge. Continue to find what makes you feel whole, what connects you to spirit, what helps you understand the oneness of it all. The work is never finished.

TAURUS

4 of Wands and Page of Wands

Dear Taurus, this Leo season the 4 of Wands and the Page of Wands invite you to celebrate life by following your bliss.

The 4 of Wands is about joy, harmony, stability, and expansion. This card asks us to surround ourselves with people, places, and things that make us feel loved and supported. It asks us to cultivate our own personal sense of home. security, and success. The Page of Wands is the light-hearted adventurer. This Page does not know the final destination, but it does not matter—there is a calling, a fire burning inside that propels them into action.

What does it mean to follow your bliss? It is as simple as following your excitement, listening to that childlike wonder that wants to see and experience all that life has to offer. Take risks, act on your gut feelings, and allow yourself to play and be free. This is where you will find true happiness. Do not mistake stability for stagnancy. We must always keep changing, moving, growing, and exploring. In the famous words of A-ha, “It’s no better to be safe than sorry.” What’s your sun sign’s twinning Tarot card?

GEMINI

6 of Wands and 7 of Wands

Dear Gemini, this Leo season the 6 of Wands and the 7 of Wands invite you to dig deep to find the strength and courage to win and succeed.

The 7 of Wands is the card of perseverance. There is a warrior spirit in all of us that we can tap into when we feel threatened or challenged.

Understand that sometimes, you must claim what is yours. Competition is a part of life. It does not mean that we have to put others down for us to rise. It means that we must fight for ourselves and prove ourselves. We must believe that we are worthy of the prize, that we are talented, brilliant, fierce, and deserve to be successful. Do not be afraid to shine, do not hold back your light, do not think of yourself as small. You’re a winner, baby, and often the person we have to convince most is ourselves.

CANCER

The Hanged Man and Queen of Wands

Dear Cancer, this Leo season The Hanged Man and the Queen of Wands invite you to shift your perspective, to be patient, to sit with confidence and know that the right people and circumstances will flow to you effortlessly.

The Hanged Man is the card of inaction and meditation. He asks us to find stillness, which for some is very difficult, as we’ve been programmed to participate in this endless rat race. The Queen of Wands exudes charisma and a quiet confidence. She is the woman with magnetic energy, people are drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, that is okay. We cannot always force things to move—sometimes we just have to sit and wait. But sitting and waiting is in itself a process, an opportunity to energetically manifest, and to move into a state of grace. If we are at a standstill, there is a divine reason. During these periods, elevate your frequency, embody the magnetic quality of the Queen of Wands, so you can help the energy flow and attract the desired results. What makes you feel good? LEO

Knight of Cups and 6 of Cups

Dear Leo, happy birthday! During your birth season, the Knight of Cups and the 6 of Cups invite you share your gifts, whatever they may be, and to connect to your inner child.

The Knight of Cups is the artist, the visionary, and the romantic. He leads with his heart, his creativity, and his emotions. The 6 of Cups is the card of innocence, friendship, and the inner child. This card asks us to embody the joy, compassion, and purity of children.

Let your inner child be your teacher. Let your inner child teach you about love. Your inner child did not judge, did not discriminate. Before they were taught to notice the differences in other people, they radiated their love unconditionally. They saw the beauty in others. Let your inner child teach you about creativity. Before they were taught to focus on their career, on how they would make a living, they allowed their passions to guide them. They explored the endless ways to express themselves. The best way to do this is to spend time with children and be inspired by their natural way of being.

VIRGO

9 of Cups and Queen of Pentacles

Dear Virgo, this Leo season the 9 of Cups and the Queen of Pentacles invite you to express gratitude for what you have, and for the simple pleasures of life.

The 9 of Cups is the card of contentment. You may not have everything you want, and your piggy bank may not be filled with gold coins, but this card asks you to acknowledge that you have everything you need. The Queen of Pentacles is the natural caretaker, provider, and homemaker—in the most sacred sense of the word.

In a time when we are exposed more and more the lifestyles of the rich and the famous, it is easy to magnify what is lacking in our lives. Where is your three-month European vacation, your private jet, your endless designer wardrobe? Remember that these things may be fun, but they do not bring true happiness or inner peace. Be thankful for what you have, who you are, and who you surround yourself with. Find joy in sharing a meal with friends, in creating a beautiful sanctuary for yourself, in caring for those you love. Seek luxury in nature, in the smell of roses, in the warmth of sunlight, in the beauty of a summer hike. The more you show gratitude, the more the universe will bless you with things to be grateful for.

LIBRA

Page of Pentacles and 5 of Pentacles

Dear Libra, this Leo season the Page of Pentacles and the 5 of Pentacles invites you to create your own opportunities and to take the lead in manifesting your dreams.

The Page of Pentacles heralds new ventures, new ways to bring in abundance, and the motivating to begin. This Page helps you water the seed of your intentions. The 5 of Pentacles points to loss and scarcity. It asks us to review the ways we feel we are not enough, or the ways we convince ourselves we do not have enough.

If you find yourself in a time of financial misfortune, know that you will not stay there forever. Money is energy, and therefore is subject to the ebb and flow just like everything else in our reality. The key is to focus on opportunity instead of defeat. If you’ve lost something, perhaps it was in your highest good, perhaps you are being led away from what will not serve you. The Page wants you to brainstorm, to think of next steps—no matter how small. The Page offers you the shovel to dig yourself out. There is always a way, there is always another path, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. This Tarot reading holds the key to unlocking your love life.

SAGITTARIUS

Wheel of Fortune and The World

Dear Sagittarius, this Leo season the Wheel of Fortune and The World invite you to expand your horizons, to shift your energy through movement, and to experience the vastness of this planet we live in.

The Wheel of Fortune speaks to the cycles in our lives—it heralds new energy, unblocks any stagnancy, and keeps the flow going. The World is the final card in the major arcana. It is the card of completion and wholeness and it reminds us that a new journey is always about to begin.

When we hold stuck energy, we feel lethargic and uninspired. The Wheel of Fortune brings in momentum to push that energy, to get the momentum going, and bring much needed change. With The World card, that change comes in the form of your physical location. Often, a short time in a new environment is all we need to get us out of our rut. These two major arcana cards usher in a new cycle, filled with excitement and adventure. Go somewhere you have never been, try foods you have never eaten, take an exercise class that you thought was too challenging. Do anything, big or small, to shake up the energy and propel you to unexplored territories.

CAPRICORN

Judgement and Death

Dear Capricorn, this Leo season Judgement and Death invite you to liberate yourself from the shackles that hold you back and keep you from evolving.

Judgement is the card of atonement. This powerful major arcana asks us to see how our past actions have brought us to the present moment. It asks us to forgive others, and to forgive ourselves, so we may spiritually ascend. Death is the card of intense transformation. It usually signifies something internal, not external. Death asks us to surface and clear the parts of ourselves that no longer serve us.

Be honest with yourself; take responsibility for where you are and who you are. The experiences in our lives shape us, but it is up to us to determine how. Any false sense of self, victimhood, hatred, unworthiness, narcissism, etc. must be cleared. Death is preparing you for the next level. Meditation, therapy, life coaching—do what you must to push yourself. Judgement promises that you will heal, find clarity, gain new understanding and wisdom, and come closer to who you truly are. Practice self-mastery with this Tarot card.

AQUARIUS

4 of Swords and 8 of Cups

Dear Aquarius, this Leo season the 4 of Swords and the 8 of Cups invite you to truly take time out, spend time in contemplation, and review what you must leave behind.

The 4 of Swords asks us to rest, to lay everything down and truly spend time with self. There is meditation that must happen, and you must ask yourself the important questions. The 8 of Cups asks us if we want to stay or go. Is this filling our cup, or draining it?

When big decisions have to be made, when a relationship, a job, or any other situation is not improving, it is okay to ask for advice from someone. However, the most important advice comes from within. And to hear our inner wisdom, and the wisdom of our spirit team, we must be quiet enough to listen. Are we wanting to leave because we do not want to grow, or are we wanting to leave because we cannot grow in this situation? You won’t know until you bring yourself to stillness—to silence.

PISCES

The Moon and 2 of Wands

Dear Pisces, this Leo season The Moon and the 2 of Wands invite you to explore the deepest and darkest aspects of yourself, to face your demons and own them. The Moon speaks to the dark nights of the soul. The Moon asks us to shine a light on our bad habits, our judgements, our wounds that have not yet healed. We must bring to the surface what’s been hiding in our closets. The 2 of Wands is the card of exploration and discovery. This energy asks us to make plans and set our sights on our destination.

It is time to take self-care and healing seriously. It is time to make concrete plans, to set appointments, to really invest in our emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. You know your habits that hurt you and hurt others, what do you want to do to break this cycle? You know that you are holding on to this heartbreak from the past, and it is preventing you from opening up to new love, how do you want to go about healing your heart? In order to grow, and to heal, we want to have to, then we need to take action, and love ourselves enough to get the help we need. Research different healing modalities, be honest about where you are, and then be clear about where you want to be.
