The November 2018 Full Moon Has the Answers You're Looking For
At 9:39pm PST on November 22, 2018, the full moon will be in Gemini. Also known as the Full Beaver Moon and the Frost Moon, this moon is full of important info.
In fact, new information always seems to come to light around the full moon… and that’s no coincidence. After all, when lunar energies are at their peak, we tend to be a lot more extroverted—and word of mouth travels fast!
What role does the moon play in your natal chart?
But if you really want to know what’s up, the full moon in Gemini delivers the goods. That’s because this lunation is ruled by none other than Mercury —the messenger of the gods himself.
What Does the Full Moon in Gemini Mean?
With or without the winged sandals, this November full moon could be described as footloose and fancy-free. As the trickster of the zodiac, Gemini never stays in one place for too long… and under its influence, we won’t want to, either!
Trying new things or meeting new people, we often discover new sides of ourselves. And that’s especially true at this full moon, when our sense of self feels a lot more fluid. We can have fun trying on different ideas and identities, without being limited or defined by any particular one. After all, this is a time for gathering information—not worrying about how it all fits into the grand scheme of things.
Of course, we will want to know that eventually. And when we’re ready to reflect, the sun in Sagittarius (which opposes this full moon) will be there to help us gain wisdom from our experiences. Just remember to keep an open mind—some of your new insights may surprise you!
Open-mindedness: that’s Gemini at its best. This mutable air sign is never too proud to change its mind or adapt itself to new situations. And as the ultimate “social butterfly,” Gemini can find common ground with just about anyone.
But every sign has its challenges, and Gemini’s versatility can come at a price. With so many opportunities to socialize at this full moon, it can be easy to scatter our energies and lose touch with our own center. And while we all love a good story, it’s possible to get carried away and take a little too much poetic license with the facts.
Still, this could be the most fun and fascinating full moon of the year—so get out there and satisfy your curiosity!
