Scorpio Season 2026 Horoscope: A Rebirth for Every Sign
Scorpio season 2026 runs from October 23 to November 21, and it’s when the dark takes over for real. Halloween and Day of the Dead fall a week in. Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio on the second day of the season and spends three weeks of it moving backward, while Venus is still retrograde from Libra season. Both of them turn direct on November 13.
This season opens up your connection with the spiritual realm, and with Mercury retrograde in the sign of death and rebirth, you’ll have to decide what you want to die off and what you’re giving permission to grow.
What Scorpio Season 2026 Asks of You
Your body may feel a kind of rebirth this month, and rebirth this time of year can look like exhaustion. It can feel like restlessness, or like you want to hibernate. You may cry for no reason. Foods you used to like may stop tasting right, and maybe the TV shows you loved don’t hold you anymore. Whatever you’ve been consuming may not give you the dopamine hit your body has been looking for. With this rebirth, your body may start seeking things you’ve never had a relationship with before.
This year may have taught you more about your body and your soul than you asked it to, and now a version of you may be trying to come back. Maybe it’s who you were before a loss, a breakup, a layoff, or anything else that knocked you off course. When that version comes back, it comes back clearer. Or maybe it’s the version of you that you were never allowed to be, the one you were too scared to be because of what society expected of you. Now that Scorpio season is here, that part of you may be coming back into what it wants.
That can be hard, because Scorpio season walks you straight into the holidays, where you may end up facing people and places that no longer serve you, all in the guise of keeping the peace.
With Mercury and Venus both retrograde, a month where nothing you say or want seems to move can feel scary. You can’t be scared of this one. You have to take the fear and bring it with you. Maybe that’s applying for a job you don’t have every qualification for, or starting a conversation with someone you’d like to know. It could be the program you’ve wanted to enroll in for years, or the creative pursuit you once decided was silly. The sky is asking how much you trust the unknown and the unseen, and whether you’re willing to release your strongholds around what you want so you can get something better when this is all said and done.
Venus Cazimi and Mercury Retrograde Open the Season, October 23 and 24
Venus meets the sun at 0 degrees 45 minutes of Scorpio at 8:44 p.m. PT on October 23, the turning point of her retrograde. About three and a half hours later, at 12:12 a.m. PT on October 24, Mercury stations retrograde at 20 degrees 59 minutes of Scorpio. It backs up to 5 degrees of Scorpio and never leaves the sign.
The last time Mercury stayed in Scorpio for an entire retrograde was the fall of 2019, months before the world shut down and you went into one of the scariest, most unknown seasons of your life. Think about what you had in 2019. You had freedom and you had choice. Your brain could reach for optimism, and you weren’t so worried about the future because you were living in the present.
Everyone has been through something since then, and a lot of that optimism and presence got snatched away over these past few years. Scorpio may send you back to finish a conversation about all of it, so you can appreciate that you survived it and got a chance to thrive. This season lets you reclaim that feeling in a different way, one that feels more solid and clear for you as an individual. What you may be getting back is your own autonomy in your body and your mind.
The Taurus Full Moon Squares Pluto on October 25
The full moon is at 2 degrees 45 minutes of Taurus at 9:11 p.m. PT, with the sun on the other side still close to retrograde Venus. Both lights square Pluto at 3 degrees 6 minutes of Aquarius, ten days after Pluto stationed direct, making a T-square with Pluto at the apex.
With the moon in Taurus and the sun in Scorpio, this full moon asks you to look at what’s yours, like your body and your space, and to release anything you’ve been carrying that was never yours. Hand it back to the people it belongs to, even if you’re afraid to tell them. Pluto turns this into a power struggle over your standards. Your standards belong to you, and people get scared to share them because they so often go against the status quo. When you require more than what people have been sold or taught, you may look crazy to them.
The Veil Is Thin for Halloween and Day of the Dead, October 31 to November 2
When the light gets this short, the veil gets very thin, and communication with the spiritual world gets more intense. Now is the time to talk to your loved ones who have passed on. Ask them how to navigate life and what your next steps are to complete the assignment your soul chose for you in this lifetime. Put up a picture of them or light a candle. You could even play their favorite music or make their favorite meal. Reminisce about the good times you had and tap into what you felt when they were in the physical realm. If you feel their absence in parts of your life, let those feelings and that energy fill you up.
The Scorpio New Moon on November 8
The new moon is at 16 degrees 53 minutes of Scorpio at 11:02 p.m. PT, with Mercury still retrograde in the sign and a wide square to Mars and Jupiter in Leo. Last month’s Libra new moon came in with Venus retrograde, so this is the second new moon in a row that can’t be a clean fresh start.
This new moon has you planting in the dark. If you plant one thing, make it about relationships. That could be a healthy romantic relationship. Maybe it’s the connections and opportunities around your career, or friends who match who you are now and where you’re going.
Mars and Jupiter Meet the South Node in Leo, November 12 to 15
Jupiter conjoins the south node at about 25 degrees of Leo around November 12. Mars meets the south node at about the same degree on November 14, and Mars and Jupiter come together at about 26 degrees of Leo on November 15.
With the south node in Leo, you may be done with the performance and with being seen just to be seen. The collective is being asked to put down the ego side of Leo and the agenda people usually attach to shining. The days of doing it for recognition may be over, and there has to be some other meaning behind it.
Mercury and Venus Station Direct on November 13
Mercury turns direct at 5 degrees 2 minutes of Scorpio at 7:53 a.m. PT. Venus follows at 22 degrees 52 minutes of Libra at 4:27 p.m. PT, about eight and a half hours later.
That day may feel like finally telling the truth about what you want in your life and being okay with people not agreeing. Use that week to start telling people who you are and how you want your relationships to be. Don’t get upset if some of them don’t like the new version of you.
Here’s What Scorpio Season 2026 May Bring for Your Rising Sign
Scorpio rising. The sun and Mercury retrograde are in your 1st house. Mars, your traditional ruler, is sitting on the south node in your 10th house of career. Surface conversations and surface jobs may stop working for you this month. You know how deep you can go, and you’ve hidden that, even from yourself. Speak the truth and let it shake the table. Some people may call you a rebel. This is who you’ve always been, and the people around you need to wake up to it.
Sagittarius rising. With Mercury retrograde in your 12th house and Jupiter, your ruler, on the south node in your 9th, your beliefs may get put on front street. The thing you may be scared to say is that the old paradigm is falling away, and the beliefs people hold about institutions won’t be able to save them. You being different is okay. The right people will find you, but you have to put yourself out on the line.
Capricorn rising. Mercury retrograde moves through your 11th house of friends and may bring old group chats back around. What do you owe a community you outgrew? You can part ways clean without staying obligated to something that may never have fed you. When Venus retrograde backs into your 10th on October 25, parts of your career may stop sitting right with you. Whatever you build, you build for the people around you too, and when it’s only about a quick buck, it stops feeling good.
Aquarius rising. The full moon on October 25 pulls your 4th house of home against your 10th of career, with Pluto in your 1st holding the pressure of that T-square. You may need new boundaries in both places. Decide what role you play in your family and whether it’s affecting your work, then ask the same of the role you play at work. Pick the one you want to cultivate over the next 18 months.
Pisces rising. Jupiter, your traditional ruler, meets Mars on the south node in your 6th house of work and health, and Mercury retrograde has you going back over your beliefs in your 9th. You may be stuck in a routine that’s wearing on your body because you won’t let yourself be the delusional version of you that you need to be sometimes. The world asks so much structure of you that you ignore the part of you that wants to be a little airy-fairy. You need that reprieve.
Aries rising. Old conversations about intimacy and shared money may come back to you with Mercury retrograde in your 8th house. Your ruler Mars is off having fun in your 5th. Is the closeness you want costing too much of yourself? Look at what you’re bypassing to avoid the hard conversation. Maybe it’s time to make a move by yourself. If telling people you no longer want what you thought you wanted breaks up a partnership, this could still be the season to start living by your values.
Taurus rising. Partnership runs your whole season in your 7th house, and the full moon on October 25 falls in your 1st with your ruler Venus retrograde beside the sun. You tend to assimilate to your surroundings and hide what you want from your relationships just to stay in good graces. Stop pointing the finger at the other person and ask why you’re putting up with this dynamic. Put your foot down, even if it rocks the boat.
Gemini rising. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde in your 6th house of work and health for three weeks, and Mars and Jupiter are all up in your 3rd of communication. Some part of your work life may have to be redone. You’ve been the crisis manager and the strategist for everybody else while your own needs go unmet, and everyone’s anxiety gets filtered through you. Your nervous system can’t carry all that pressure anymore.
Cancer rising. Mercury retrograde is in your 5th house of creativity and pleasure, and Mars and Jupiter are on the south node in your 2nd of money. The creative project you abandoned could be the spark you need. Maybe the goals you had in the past were right for you and the timing was off. Get back to play. For you, play fuels your whole life and brings back energy you’ve been needing for a long time.
Leo rising. Mars and Jupiter are stacked up in your 1st house with the south node, but your ruler, the sun, is down in your 4th house of home and family. Your bright, adventurous self wants you to rest this season. Look at your foundation, the people you call family and the home itself, and ask whether it feels good. You’re the sun in the underworld right now, so this is about how you get to shine in the most intimate spaces of your life.
Virgo rising. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde in your 3rd house of communication, the house it naturally rules. What conversation have you rehearsed a hundred times in your head and never said to the person who needs to hear it? If you say the first, unedited version, you may come across as mean, and people already think you are. You see deeper and get straight to the point. Make your words count and set the tone for how you want to be treated.
Libra rising. Your ruler Venus backs into your 1st house on October 25 and goes direct there on November 13. Mercury retrograde is in your 2nd of money and worth the whole time. After a season spent on who you’ve become, you may be asking what that person values and what you’re done adjusting so other people can understand it. Look at your transactions with money and with people. Is it an equal exchange, or do you keep getting left out of the equation?
