November 2024 Monthly Report: Karmic Shifts and Cosmic Surprises: What November Has in Store

November is rich with karmic unfolding, for wider humanity, and in our individual lives. The past seeds we have sewn sprout and blossom now – for better or worse.

The month is brimming with hefty squares and oppositions from the most potent of planets, designed to shake us out of any unhappy ruts that have formed with the energies of 2024. And with three lunations in the one month (Pacific Time), November is sure to have a strong emotional focus. Let’s find out a little more of what is in store.

November 1, 2024 New Moon in Scorpio 9°

Are you in need of a little intensity or a deep focus? Then this is the new moon for you! When the moon is activated in Scorpio, we become a little more psychic, and a little more determined to take a stand for what we believe in. Some may experience an ending and new beginning in life under this new Moon, and do be careful of a tendency to manipulate others, or exerting a self righteous avoidance of responsibilities under this influence.

November 2, 2024 Mercury Trine Mars:

This is a time for being sure of your decisions. For making ‘bang on’ choices on the fly. Take a risk that can really pay off. Feel confident in your plans and life strategy.

Mercury trine Mars is also brimming with blessing for endeavours requiring concentration and mental focus. Communication of all kinds gets the thumbs up too – so write that speech. Email that long lost friend. Ask your Dad for a favor. Publish that blog post.

Mars brings a winning streak to your communication as well – so now is the time to put that rehearsed, in the mirror monologue out there! Defend yourself, or those you care about, as if you were in the courtroom!

November 3, 2024 Mars Opposite Pluto

One of the universe’s more difficult interactions…take a deep breath!

Yes, in the positive you will be motivated to achieve your strongest desires, to tackle the competition, to reach the heights, and embrace your full potential. What is interesting however, is what is fuelling this momentum. Frequently it looks like fear. Aggression. Domination. Obsession. Do you really want to be bedfellows with energy like that?

Violence and ruthlessness tend to nash their teeth at us in this once every two years transit. Are you ready to shrug it off? To take the higher moral ground? You might feel as though there are powerful forces coming against you under this influence – strategies to find calm and balance are very useful as you head into the eye of this energetic storm.

Avoid starting new relationships, or going on dates with unknown people while this energy is active.

November 3, 2024 Venus Opposite Jupiter

YUMMY! This bubbly energy gets us seeking good times, pleasures and fun with other people.

But BE WARNED! Not everything about this energy is as good for us as we may be led to believe. The pleasures we encounter may be contrary to our personal morality. The opportunities we receive may be too numerous to make a confident choice. People may promise us more than they will actually deliver.

And don’t forget the age old warning with these astrologically beneficial planets – too much indulgence is a double edged sword!

November 4, 2024 Sun Trine Saturn

Two arch enemies make something of a truce today, and it gifts us mere mortals with a feeling of groundedness and stability…..at least momentarily!

Saturn and the sun are NOT friends in astrology, but today they make a kindly nod to one another in the sky, so expect to be more efficient, productive, and to make steady progress along your life path.

The wisdom of our elders is invaluable today, so if you are searching for answers, seek out someone with more maturity, experience or authority than you – and be grateful for their hard won knowledge and guidance!

November 9, 2024 Venus Square Neptune

Our perceptions wont match up with reality too well today. We might think we are Rapunzel about to be rescued, when in reality, our enemy is crouching at our door.

Be careful where you place your trust, especially when it comes to romantic partners. This is an influence that can result in disastrous affairs, getting involved in circumstances that lead to addiction, or simply being ripped off by a shonky shyster.

Naturally, with this fanciful, yet deceptive energy, we can wind up feeling disappointed and disillusioned.

Having a healthy form of luxurious escapism available to retreat to is the perfect antidote! Book your pamper session or esteem building beauty treatment for today – without any expectations regarding the results – and just enjoy the experience for its own sake.

November 12, 2024 Mercury Square Saturn

Time to notice that amber traffic light and act accordingly! This is going to be a challenging one. Going down the mental rabbit hole of loneliness, depression, sadness and ‘poor me’ is very likely, so put your foot on the brake, slow down, and give yourself a mental rest if you can. Do make sure you have some self love strategies up your sleeve if you find you are struggling.

Negative thinking, gloomy attitudes, or feeling at odds with your social and familial circle are energies to be aware of, but you can channel this into detailed work, goal setting, planning, and reading to get better results.

“Give me more cleaning to do!” said no-one ever…..

But this is actually a day when doing constructive, productive work, such as cleaning, can help us to feel a little better. Where’s my mop?

November 15, 2024 Full Moon in Taurus 24°

Oh wow, what a refreshing full moon this will be! Trine to Pluto and sextile to Neptune, we will receive a hefty dose of outer planet blessings with this one! It is, however, set to activate the conjunction point of the Mars/Uranus conjunction from July 2024, so think back to mid-year. What was unfolding in your life at that time that might be reaching a surprising culmination now? Whatever unfolds, know that the two powerful Olympian gods, Pluto and Neptune, will have your back.

November 15, 2024 Saturn Direct

No more Saturn retrograde for another 7 months, so enjoy the sensation of things starting to change and move forward a little, at last!

What does Saturn rule in your chart? This is where you are most going to feel the difference!

When Saturn is retrograde it tends to confine itself too much – or go to the other polarity and have no boundaries at all! All in all, there is very little middle ground. Now, at last, things settle down and become more contained and manageable.

Turning direct will mean possible changes to the capacity of influence carried by the authority figures in our lives, bringing any boundaryless rulership scenarios back in check.

At least, a little bit….

November 16, 2024 Sun Opposite Uranus

The once a year transit that can really stir us up!

In modern astrology, the sun rules Leo, and Uranus rules its opposite sign, Aquarius. These two big boys can behave very much like arch enemies at times!

This is an energy of change, of shaking out of a rut, of epiphanies, of exciting new people and events. In that sense it can act on us like a tonic if we have been spinning our wheels….

But don’t get all comfy just yet, your feeling of stuckness can lead to busting out, sometimes inappropriately. Expect that your best laid plans could also go awry today, and chaos could be on the menu. Male authority figures could really behave erratically, and our rebellious attitude could somehow get the better of us if we are not careful.

Note to self: act with caution in all circumstances!

November 18, 2024 Mercury Opposite Jupiter

Jupiter transits can bring blessings – but they can also take things to extremes!

Jupiter will expand our conversations – especially on cultural, spiritual and philosophical topics. Our curiosity can be aroused. We may take a delightful trip, locally or further afield. We can learn some fabulous new skills.

But watch out for over-extension! For example: a dogmatic approach to our beliefs and communication. There’s a tendency to overthink everything, and our minds may get restless. Imagining we can achieve more in our trip than what is realistic. Not paying attention to facts while we take in the big picture. Overlooking important details with the skill sets we are acquiring. Yikes!

November 18, 2024 Sun Trine Neptune

Delightful!

This is an energy for compassion, inspiration and energetic gifts from the higher powers.

We will be feeling more in the flow with life, and as such, may encounter powerful people (especially men) who can bless our lives. These can take the form of spiritual teachers, artists, musicians, and those in the healing professions.

Your own creativity will be on fire today, and there will be goosebump moments of a great love for life.

If you receive a message from spirit, pay attention! Your soul’s inner guidance is totally on point now. Trust yourself!

November 19, 2024 Pluto enters Aquarius

Here goes Pluto, settling once and for all into the waves of the Water Bearer! This is no trifling transit – a topic that has been well explored by astrologers for the last few years. However, it is the ingress chart of this event that is most revealing – a topic I have explored in depth.

Financial astrologers, mundane astrologers, weather astrologers and personal astrologers all acknowledge that the ingress chart of a planet into a new sign, especially a big gun like Pluto, is so very important. The next few months will reveal a taste of the new humanitarian agenda, the key power players, and the purging and purifying that is to come over the next 20 years.

November 25, 2024 Mercury Retrograde

22° Sagittarius back to 6° Sagittarius on December 16

This is a time of rethinking our choices – especially those to do with travel, education, relocation and where we place our beliefs. A time of second thoughts and second chances!

In a sign so connected to knowledge, wisdom and morality, Mercury retrograde is a time for revamping anything and everything to do with our direction in life, what gives our life meaning and purpose, and what we do to expand our presence on the planet. This is a very pertinent retrograde period for personal growth!

Mercury retrograde allows us energetic time and space to research our next best step in life, to consider training to improve our options in the future, to redirect our beliefs to something more aligned with who we are, and to explore new ideas that we can integrate when Mercury moves direct again.

November 27, 2024 Sun Trine Mars

Va Va Voom! An awesome energy to rev up your life!

Confidence, courage and leadership ability are in abundance today – you will feel like you can take on the world AND WIN!

If you need to start something, today is your perfect day! If you are competing – both physically or in any other realm – you will come away satisfied with your efforts.

Sex drive is increased, and stamina and healthy physical exertion levels are at a peak. Enjoy!

November 30, 2024 10:21 pm PST / December 1, 2024 1:21 EST New Moon in Sagittarius 9°

Oh wow! Just what the doctor ordered! This new moon in the freedom loving and joyful sign of Sagittarius trines both the north node (destiny!) and Mars (will power!).

Nonetheless, we must tread carefully with a square aspect to Saturn in Pisces, which could have us feeling a little bit blocked, and somewhat stuck.

This new moon heralds a fresh start and new beginnings. Fated opportunities arrive at our door. Excitement is assured. Your destiny awaits – just be prepared to have to break out of your routine a little to make it happen!
