Neptune Retrograde 2022 Meaning

When Neptune, the planet of illusion and delusion, moonwalks through the sky, psychic perception, emotional sensitivities, and dreams will become more vivid to all of us. The caveat is that we may question our intuition and second guess our hunches.

During the 2022 Neptune retrograde, be prepared to swim in the deep end of the ocean for the next six months and let your heart navigate you through the murky waters ahead. Our intuition has been strong, but now we are starting to second guess ourselves, which will be the vibe during the next six months. Stay true to your feelings and trust your gut. Even though it may be challenging, follow your instincts—only they can lead you towards the truth.

Key Neptune Retrograde Aspects in 2022

• July 2: Mercury in Gemini forms a square with Neptune retrograde, making us believe in lies rather than truth. We don’t want to acknowledge the reality of situations at this time, which is why we will ticker heads in the sand like ostriches and avoid the truth of matters. We might also be misled by others, so we must be careful with the information we receive during this time.
• July 14: Venus in Gemini forms a square with Neptune retrograde, which will make matters of the heart confusing. It’s not a great day to make financial investments, as they can backfire due to the uncertainty of Neptune’s moonwalk.
• September 16: The sun in Virgo will form an opposition with retrograde Neptune. This will make us feel a little confused concerning our place in the world. If we try to find a core foundation that stabilizes us, we will be able to work through this energy.
• October 12: Mars in Gemini will form a square with Neptune retrograde twice. The first occurrence falls on October 12, 2022 and the second one falls on November 19, 2022. These are moments of ambiguity and uncertainty. Every step forward feels like a giant leap backwards. Fear can hold us back from attaining our goals, which is why it’s not the best time to push matters forward, but to strategize the moment when there is more flexibility and movement.
• Dec 1: Mercury in Sagittarius forms a square with Neptune retrograde. This can lead to two different energies at play. On one hand, it will make us super sensitive and emotional when it comes to criticism from others. And on the other hand, we may be too focused on ourselves that we don’t even notice others are poking at us. Therefore, it’s important to relax and take a break from social media. Detox your mind and heart to avoid such matters from causing anxiety and stress.

Neptune Retrograde 2022 Horoscopes

Aries

Think of this time of solitude as a blessing in disguise. Not only will you be able to take care of everything that crosses your path, but you’ll be able to win at every endeavor. Nothing will stand in your way of success, as you’re now protected by the universe. Pay attention to the dreams that unfold while you’re sleeping. You may be able to find clarity and understanding in the visions that are being brought to you at this moment, which is why it’s important to keep a dream journal so you can record your innermost sentiments.

Taurus

Friendships will be more confusing than ever, as you may feel as though your crew isn’t listening or hearing you. Try to speak to them with direct words for them to understand your concerns and feelings. Don’t shy away from opening up now. Although it will be hard to discuss your feelings, it’s important that you let your friends know how you truly feel about them to mend fences and to become closer.

Gemini

The direction of your career will be cloudier than ever, as you are unsure of the next steps needed to elevate your professional dreams. Try vision-boarding your goals with your friends for fun to gain clarity on your goals and path for the future. Taking a break from stressing out about work will be the healthiest thing you can do for yourself, as it will allow you to recharge your senses and to find clarity in the direction you want to take your career.

Cancer

You’re returning to the old philosophies and wisdom that you learned in your youth. However, you can find structure in such sentiments if you let yourself embrace old views mixed with new beliefs. Find a balance of ideology that works for you and you alone. If you are able to access your inner wisdom and truth at this moment, you will be able to soar high and be at peace with yourself during this planetary moonwalk.

Leo

It’s easy for you to create boundaries, but hard for you to stick with them. The truth of the matter is that your heart is so big and generous, that you want to make everyone happy. As you’ll soon find out, it’s impossible to do that. Now you have even more reason why you should create limits with others. Before you reverse the structure you have spent so much time implementing within relationships, find time to reprogram your heart and mind, by learning when to say yes and no.

Virgo

A former friend will slowly resurface over the next six months. While it may be tempting to open the door to yesteryear, you’ll hesitate because you don’t want to focus on the good old days. Live in the present, not in the past—and move on! If you choose to engage with old ghosts, you may trick yourself into thinking that they’ve changed when they haven’t in order to believe the best in them at this time.

Libra

You’re overworked and over-exhausted, which means that it’s time to take a mini break from work and your daily vibe. Incorporate healing and rejuvenating baths into your routine. Also, don’t be afraid to sleep in now and again. Hitting the snooze button can be therapeutic, as long as you’re aware that you have to wake up and start the day off soon. Basically, don’t get too lazy that you forget about your obligations and work.

Scorpio

Love is on your brain, but you may find it hard to find someone worth committing to. This doesn’t mean that you’re destined to be single for the upcoming months ahead. You just have to look harder and put more effort into finding your person. If you aren’t lining up with anyone in particular, then you may want to try out a creative pursuit. This will satisfy the romantic sensibilities that are brewing within you and give you a chance to create something new and inspiring for yourself.

Sagittarius

Finding your vibe and tribe is proving to be harder than you thought. However, if you change your attitude and belief system, then you can totally find people who you jive well with and places you can see yourself living in for the long haul. If you can’t move at the present time, then try adding spiritual pursuits or endeavors in your daily routine. You’ll find that this activity helps to clear the energy and makes you feel emotionally and mentally fulfilled.

Capricorn

It’s time to face the truth: You’re listening to others, but you’re not exactly hearing them. Tuning out the deets of matters and conversations will prove catastrophic if you do not learn to pay attention to what others are saying. Listen up, then make your decisions. And if you are unable to find that they are stating facts that align with your reality, then you can do your own research and gain an understanding of matters on your own time without their added narrative in the mix.

Aquarius

It’s time for you to get a handle on your finances, Aquarius. Although committing to a financial plan is seemingly hard now, you will have to make it work in order to have savings for a rainy day handy in your bank account. The caveat is that you were not feeling the importance of financial gain, as you are relinquishing the control that the material world has over you. However, you need money to live, which is why it’s advisable to seek help during this time in order to navigate through the murky waters of your finances.

Pisces

Don’t underestimate the power of projection. Unfortunately, others are only seeing what they want to see in you now (and vice versa). Therefore, it’s time to put on an enchanting show and wear your rose-colored glasses to give off a positive vibe and image. The flip side is that we may be the ones who are projecting our emotions onto others, which may not prove to be true or real. Living in a fantasy is great, but you must return to the real world every now and again.
