Moon in Aquarius: The Water Bearer

Today, the moon cruises into Aquarius, setting the stage for some futuristic contemplation about how we can improve things, not just for ourselves but also for our loved ones and, in some ways, the whole world. Let yourself go all the way into this vision and see what bright insight arises.

Find a quiet space and make yourself comfortable. Take one slow, deep breath to reconnect to your own magic. Then dive all the way into this vision and see what happens.

WATER BEARER

Take a few conscious breaths, paying special attention to how the air flows in and out of your body. In your mind’s eye, see yourself as a mystical archetype. This is a next-level, mystical representation of your ultimate, best self.

See yourself as a magician or priestess, warrior or goddess, king or queen, something like that. Whichever archetype comes first is great. BE that wholeheartedly.

Now see your powerful, mystic self by a great river that is rushing and flowing with the most sparkling and glorious clear water. This flowing water is healing and rejuvenating, like water from the fountain of youth.

First, see your reflection in the water. Breathe and perceive your fresh magnificence.

Then dip your hands, your feet, even your whole body in these incredibly healing and fortifying waters. Let the river hold you and feed you some of its magic. You are new, clean, remade.

Now emerge and become the water bearer. Find a great jug or barrel or bucket nearby, fill it with water from the river, and then go and take it to someone in the nearby village or kingdom.

As you offer the magic water to someone, first watch how they receive it, how it helps them. Then notice who you give the water to. Experiment with the idea that the person represents a part of yourself that needs sustenance now.

(Read this last section, then close your eyes, enter the vision, and experience it!)

For as long as you like, keep on being the water bearer. Keep bringing that magic stuff to whomever needs it. You might even find new, magical ways to move the water from the river to those who need it. As you do, feel your way into a new knowing about where your gifts are needed next on this planet spinning through this infinite universe.
