June's Astrological Forecast Sets the Stage for Summer
Already in the swing of chatty Gemini season, this month is time to get out and showcase yourself. A new moon on the June 3 kicks off the month with a chance to plant some seeds for what you’d like to manifest this month. If you’ve been struggling with work/life balance, this month is a good opportunity to integrate a little more fun into your days. Indulge your inner extrovert! That said, watch out for too much gossip. The Twins love to communicate, and sometimes things get a little out of hand where secrets and speculation is concerned. Venus will be active in the sky this month, bringing with it a fresh sense of aesthetic and creative inspiration. Perhaps a new summer look is in order?
Towards the end of the month, Neptune enters a retrograde cycle, so be prepared to slow down a bit—and to trust your intuition. Things are not always as they seem, and Neptune’s mysterious influence may add an extra dose of confusion. If there are areas in your life that have been throwing you for a loop, this is a powerful time to clear things up. It can be tempting to fall for illusions, but don’t let them throw you off track. Also, just because it’s the season of summer fun, be careful not to overindulge. Neptune rules excess and addiction, and a retrograde is no time to mess with that.
As the month winds down, it’s time to take a deep breath and settle into some downtime. (there’s no sign that does “Netflix and chill” like homey Cancer ). The influence of this water sign might lead to increased emotions—good and bad. Take time for some self-care and let yourself ride the waves into July.
What’s do the stars have in store for you this month?
On June 2, Venus in Taurus will trine to Pluto in Capricorn, encouraging us to work on building our reserves of self-esteem and confidence. If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to ask for a raise or propose a new business venture, this is a good day to do it.
The new moon in Gemini on June 3 is a good time to set your intentions for the month ahead, as well as reflect on setting boundaries that mirror where you are now.
When Mercury in Cancer is positioned sextile to Uranus in Taurus on June 7, conversations may center around the future where matters of the home are concerned. This can also inspire you to ask yourself what you need in your life to feel a sense of safety and stability going forward.
Art and beauty are the order of the day on June 9, when Venus is quintile Neptune. This is a placement that stimulates creativity, so get artistic. Enigmatic Neptune doesn’t always give us clear answers, so if things seem murky today try and express yourself through drawing, writing, or making music.
You might find communication is difficult or frustrating when Mercury opposes Saturn on June 16. Take some extra time to be clear and listen and be patient. This is a day you’ll want to avoid signing contracts or paperwork.
We’re welcoming a full moon in Sagittarius on June 17, which will be a great day for an adventure! If there is something that has held you back from exploring, let it go today. Plan a trip, sign up for a class, or download a language learning app.

Home life is the major focus for the crab, so surround yourself with family and spend some time feathering your nest.
Venus will be quintile to Chiron on June 23, forcing us to reexamine our issues around beauty and vanity. Chiron is the wounded warrior, and its placement deals with deep-seated trauma and wounds. On June 27, the sun will be sextile Uranus, presenting us with surprising revelations about ourselves. This aspect is also conducive to fresh opportunities, so expect the unexpected!
