Healing Old Wounds: Chiron in Pisces and an Aquarius Moon

The moon is in Aquarius and sextile to Chiron in Pisces.

Anytime a planet interacts with Chiron, an asteroid that rules our deep emotional wounds, we have an opportunity for healing. And, because Aquarius and Pisces are both signs of connectivity across time and space, the symbolism associated with marigolds can be useful now.

Travel through time and space with this multi-dimesional reading.

Marigolds have been used throughout cultures in relation to death and passing over. Their sunny appearance, a bright yellow-orange, acts as the sun to guide souls on their journey to the other side.

Chiron’s aspects can trigger old traumas and past-life karma, so using marigold to perform a symbolic funeral ritual for your old emotional wounds might be helpful. It can also be a way to embody the Aquarius moon, uplifting all of humanity through the healing of individual wounds.

Marigold’s healing properties are many, and it can be taken internally or used topically.

Marigold is also known as calendula, which is often found in all kinds of health and beauty products to accelerate physical healing. It can be found in many ointments and creams to soothe skin ailments, reduce pain or itching, or promote quick healing. It can be used as an oil or balm for the hair. It is also good for the health of the mouth. You can drink calendula tea, which helps with internal inflammation due to gastric problems or cramps.

The flower petals are also edible, so you could add a colorful sprinkle to salads or dishes for a smaller dose of the oil’s healing properties.

Spiritually, the bright energy of marigold eases transition and helps to balance out grief and mourning.

While the moon is in the sign of humanity, activating the planet of wounds, we can all be helped by the light that marigold shines onto our pain, easing our passage as we enter into healing.
