Everything You Need to Know About Februarys’s Full Moon in Leo
Creativity flows, pride strengthens, and egos clash during the Leo full moon, which graces our skies the morning of February 12. This lunation stirs up themes around identity and friendship, asking us all to reflect on how our communities shape us. Connect deeply with your own interests to maintain a sense of individuality, but avoid turning away from other perspectives out of stubbornness. A harsh t-square with unpredictable Uranus makes it difficult to identify how certain actions or conversations will play out or impact you, and being faced with fresh concepts could cause you to freeze. When traveling through these cosmic tides, it will be important to take the temperature of your own mood and that of those you encounter, to maintain control of your responses, ability to learn, and path forward.
Focus on keeping the vibe light, but recognize that you don’t have control over how others are feeling. Hone in on playful and fun activities, attempting to strengthen bonds through laughter whenever possible. Avoid topics that have a history of triggering you or peers, as passions could become blinding when opinions differ. Uranus’ influence will make it difficult for people to back down from a fight when they see one, especially if they feel challenged or misunderstood.
A desire to shape how you are seen intensifies under Luna’s glow, but over-explaining your disposition or dreams could reveal cracks in your plans or confidence. Rather than striving to demonstrate refinement, wisdom, and maturity, give yourself the freedom to get a little experimental. Step into your role as an artist and explorer to make the most of this astrological event. Releasing your inhibitions will reveal just how innovative and brave you truly are, helping you gain more respect than applying a front or brave face.
Opportunities to change how you communicate also come into play, thanks to a helping hand from Mercury. Try to learn from relationships and personalities that seem highly evolved and understanding, doing what you can to adopt some of their more noble qualities. Though you’ll need to stay true to yourself, finding room for improvement will give you a chance to evolve and feel lighter internally and when dealing with others. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box when new challenges arise, but remember that it’s okay to retreat when the battle seems pointless.
As we reach the tail end of Mars’ retrograde journey, you’ll be in a position to reset your internal fire and personal drive. This planetary backspin may have caused you to feel less inspired and more lethargic than usual, though you’ll have a chance to start pulling yourself out of such funks. Slowly dip your toe back into goals or projects that went ignored or progressed more slowly than you’d like since December 6, 2024, pulling from the fiery energy this astrological event has to offer. Though this retrograde continues until February 23rd, this full moon brings glimmers of how you might come back to your normal self emotionally, mentally, and energetically.
