Eclipse Season Is Intense — Here’s How to Work the Energy in Your Favor
This time between the new moon solar eclipse in Leo on August 12, 2026, and the full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces on August 27, 2026, can feel like a pressure cooker. And this particular eclipse season brings a new beginning and a closing of a chapter. It can feel like you’re stuck between a past version of yourself and who you are becoming.
If there’s anything that is preventing you from fully connecting with your intuition and pursuing the truest sense of your creativity, it’s apparent right now more than ever. You’re being invited to let it go. A story that started two years ago is finally coming to a close.
You’re also finally ready to truly let your light shine. To find new ways to be confident and empowered. Instead of following someone else’s plan of what your life should look like, check in with yourself to see if your values are being reflected in all areas of your life. When it comes to work, let people see the value you’re already creating instead of hoping they’ll notice on their own.
Eclipse season is intense, but you can work this energy to call in your manifestations.
Read below for how to thrive during this time. Read for your moon sign.
Aries
Don’t let your feelings simmer to the point they may explode. Find a healthy way to communicate and/or let it out. This could look like a new workout or creative project to inspire you.
Taurus
If you haven’t been spending time at home to recharge, this is a reminder to do so. Try a new recipe or redesign an area of your home to be your relaxation space. You’ll be grateful for it!
Gemini
Eclipses can have you stuck in your head, ruminating and doubting yourself. Refocus your attention on getting lost in something like a new hobby or finishing one of the many books you’ve started but haven’t finished.
Cancer
Feelings amplify during eclipse season. Are you taking care of yourself or focused on everyone else’s needs? This is the perfect time to plan a beach vacation or a spa night at home. Don’t get caught in other people’s drama.
Leo
Listen to your inner child!! What does your inner child need? Think back to things that made you feel safe when you were a kid.
Virgo
You know exactly what’s good for you, but do you know what brings you joy? Instead of keeping busy and productive, rest. Sometimes all you need to do is nothing.
Libra
Be mindful of who drains you. You can choose who has access to you. Not every invitation deserves a yes. Being in the right rooms with the right people will do more than just saying yes to everything. The discernment will help you conserve and boost your energy.
Scorpio
It may feel energetically very loud right now. Take extra care in protecting your energy. Transmute any stagnant energy with a breathwork class or book a session with your favorite healer. Stay away from energy vampires.
Sagittarius
It’s time to go on an adventure. Explore a new part of town or sign up for a stand-up comedy class. Whatever you do, just don’t get stuck in your thoughts.
Capricorn
Instead of throwing yourself into your work, remember to also have fun. Don’t take things so seriously. This season will pass. Reconnect with nature to zoom out and remember how beautiful life is.
Aquarius
It’s easier to ignore all the feelings that have been coming up for you, but you can’t run forever. Take time to process your feelings through writing or talking to someone, and then channel that energy into your newest project or cause.
Pisces
This isn’t the time to doubt yourself or more specifically your heart. You’ve done a lot of soul-searching the last few years, and now it’s time to celebrate. You’re more in tune with your inner world and your intuition. Allow them to guide you.
