Eclipse Season Is Coming! This Is the Crystal You Need to Cope

Our monthly Crystalscopes pair each zodiac sign with a crystal whose energies can support us through the coming month’s transits. We choose crystals that are accessible and widely available; you may see the same stone pop up from month to month as a medicine for a different sign—consider it an invitation to use your toolkit!

Also consider low-impact methods like using gem essences and elixirs, buying used crystals, or starting a crystal share with friends. Real magic can only be accomplished by acknowledging our impact on the world around us.

Read these for your sun, moon, and rising signs to learn what you should wear, carry, or place on an altar to help boost your specific astrology for the month. These also work as remediations for specific houses in your natal chart. These month’s stones were selected with the duo of eclipses in mind.

ARIES

Tangerine Quartz

Dear Aries, on July 8, the comet Chiron goes retrograde in your ruling sign. Chiron is the wounded healer, and in Aries, you will be invited to review your relationship self-identity and self-confidence. To assist you, work with tangerine quartz. This crystal activates the solar plexus and sacral chakras to bring into balance feelings of self-worth. How do you gain self-worth? By understanding who you are. Self-knowledge is not about anything external—it’s an inside job. Tangerine quartz will help you focus on you, and not what others think of you. From this place, you can better align with your own being.

TAURUS

Pyrite

Dear Taurus, on July 16 you experience a full moon and partial lunar eclipse in Capricorn, asking you to review your relationship with money and abundance. What happens when things don’t go as planned? What happens when you feel that you are lacking? To help you regain confidence in your ability to manifest, attune to the vibration of pyrite. Pyrite is sometimes referred to as fool’s gold because it shares gold’s metallic brilliance. This stone is extremely powerful and reminds us of our own power to succeed in this physical world and to attain wealth, whatever wealth means to you. It also boosts our physical energy and helps us pick ourselves back up after a disappointment.

GEMINI

Amazonite

Dear Gemini, a sun- Neptune trine in Cancer and Pisces on July 10 invites you to connect with your heart and intuition, and not just your mind. You, or others, may not say what is meant, but the truth of what wants to be expressed will come through. To amplify the powers and receptive energy of your heart and intuition, carry Amazonite. This beautiful blue-green stone holds the power of the Amazon River—it allows energy and emotion to flow with no hindrance. Often people hold back what they truly feel because of fear, but Amazonite encourages you to live from your heart and to expand your empathy not to absorb others’ emotions, but to understand them on a soul level.

CANCER

Muscovite

Happy Birthday July Cancer! On July 14, you enter a sun- Pluto opposition and you will come face to face with any limiting or self-sabotaging beliefs. Jealousies and insecurities are all indicators of the ways you feel unworthy, and it’s time to shine a light on what isn’t working for you anymore. These inner demons are not new to you, you’ve known of their presence for a very long time. However, now it’s time to integrate the wisdom, and finally learn the lessons they have been trying to teach you. Muscovite is a stone of inner healing; its glassy surface asks you to reflect. PISCES

Hematite

Dear Pisces, your ruling planet Neptune continues its retrograde journey through the month of July. You will be asked to see clearly what you’ve been choosing to overlook, to see the ways you fool yourself, make excuses for yourself, or make excuses for others. Flow with this energy rather than fighting it. Work with the powers of hematite to help you cut through the fog of confusion and help ground your perceptions in reality. Hematite aids in clarity and non-partial judgment. Neptune retrograde may paint your world with rose colored glasses. There is nothing wrong with daydreaming or a bit of fantasy, but when you need a simple truth, use hematite to help you think with your logical mind.
