2025 Full Moons: Your Month-by-Month Lunar Blueprint for Transformation

If I have to sum up 2025 in three words, they are control, alt, delete. Between the nodes of fate shifting to Pisces and Virgo, four major outer planetary shifts, and the fact that 2025 is a 9 universal year in numerology, there will be many culminations and endings that lead to the start of a new way of living as we know it. As Greek philosopher Heraclitus stated, “ The only constant in life is change,” so it’s important for us to ride any waves of uncertainty, and let our emotions flow freely as they are intended to do. Emotions are governed by the moon in astrology, and following the cycles of the moon, along with being in tune with your own moon sign, can help you manage your emotions in a healthy and liberating way. Full moons in particular are associated with completion, culmination, and revelations, much like the energy of 2025. So let’s look at each full moon of the year and briefly touch on what the energy may bring as we move through each month.

This could be a relationship, or situation that has been weighing heavily on you for some time now with Saturn, ruler of the sun in Capricorn sitting next to Venus, planet of relationships. The Capricorn energy will help you see the reality of the situation for what it is, and the moon in Cancer will help you get in tune with how you truly feel. Follow your intuition.

Guard against over dramatization and keep a level head during this dramatic full moon. Self-expression is a major theme, and it’s a good time to channel the energy into a creative endeavor. Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces in difficult aspect to each other may bring a passive aggressive battle of wills. Healing old emotional wounds can take place with the moon’s aspect to Chiron, so focus on releasing and detaching under the present Aquarian energy.

Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse March 14, 11:55 pm PST / 2:55 am EST

The first eclipse of the year will force us to critically look at how our past is affecting our current reality, and forge a path towards healing and forgiveness, so that we don’t repeat negative patterns. Love planet Venus will be retrograde and next to communication planet, Mercury, dispositor of the moon in Virgo. Both planets in fiery Aries put an emphasis on direct communication with others, but guard against lashing out. This may kick off a series of serious conversations that will pave the way for a more secure future.

Adama Sesay, Professional Astrologer and Author at LilithAstrology.com on the Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse:

“ The Virgo moon and Pisces sun will form an opposition, giving the moon the iconic round and bright effect. It also will form a harsh connection called a square with expansive Jupiter in its debility, in Gemini.

On a collective level, this may place a hyper awareness around public health, respiratory ailments, the need to practice better hygiene. There also may be a delay in air travel and international relations may also feel strained.

On more of an individual level, the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo is revealing negative patterns that stunt your personal growth, like over perfectionism. This will be a 6 month period of releasing and cleansing what is physically and energetically holding you back from your dreams. This eclipse will bring major life changes for Virgo and Pisces the m ost.”
